Private Boxing Coaching in Los Angeles
One-on-one boxing sessions with a private coach—at your home or our private gym in Burbank, California. All experience levels welcome.
Boxing With A Coach, Not A Class
Why Train With a Private Boxing Coach
Group boxing classes move at the pace of the room. A private boxing coach moves at yours. Every session is one-on-one, so your trainer can correct your stance and technique in real time, build combinations around what you have already learned, and scale the intensity to your fitness level—whether you are brand new to the sport or getting back into it.
Sessions are led by Alec Penix, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer who has spent over a decade preparing actors, musicians, and professional athletes for the stage and screen, and Neil Angevine, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified Coach. You can train at our private gym in Burbank—no crowds, no waiting for equipment—or have your coach come to your home anywhere in the Los Angeles area.
Boxing is the workout our clients stick with. Mitt work and bag rounds demand total focus, which makes an hour disappear—and delivers cardio, strength, coordination, and stress relief in a single session.

From Our Trainers
Trainer Perspectives
“Boxing helps with mindfulness—it forces you to be present and in the moment because you have to focus on combinations. I enjoy boxing as a regular part of my fitness routine because it allows me to mix it up while getting out some aggression.”

Alec Penix
NASM Certified Personal Trainer
“I have several clients that have added boxing as a part of their fitness routine, and they love it! I also recommend it to anyone that wants to try something new while getting a killer workout.”

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need boxing experience to start?

Where do boxing sessions take place in Los Angeles?
You can train at our private gym in Burbank, CA, or your coach can come to your home anywhere in the Los Angeles area or Orange County. Private in-home sessions are a popular option for clients who prefer to train where they are most comfortable.
What equipment do I need for my first session?
Boxing gloves and hand wraps. If you do not own them yet, your trainer will recommend the right gloves and wraps for your size and goals before your first session.
Is boxing training good for weight loss?
Yes. Boxing combines cardiovascular conditioning with full-body strength work, which makes it one of the most effective training styles for weight loss, improved body composition, heart health, and stress relief.
